Notice of having prepared a Draft Local Area Plan for Loughmacask
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Kilkenny and the Council of the County of Kilkenny propose to make a Local Area Plan (LAP) for Loughmacask.
A copy of the Draft Loughmacask LAP may be inspected at the offices of Kilkenny Borough Council, City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and at the Planning Office of Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., Monday to Friday for a period of 6 weeks from Friday 24th August, 2007 to Friday 5th October, 2007 (both dates inclusive but excluding Public Holidays).
A copy of the Draft LAP will also be available for inspection at the County Library, Johns Quay, Kilkenny and the branch Library, Loughboy during their normal opening hours.
A copy of the Draft LAP may also be downloaded from the Councils' websites at www.kilkennycity.ieand www.kilkennycoco.ie from the 24th August 2007.
Submissions with respect to the Draft Local Area Plan, made in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Kilkenny Borough Council, City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny or to the Director of Services, Planning Department, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny and received before 5pm on the 5th October 2007, will be taken into consideration before the Local Area Plan is made.
Copies of the Draft LAP will be available for purchase through the Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council at a cost of €40 for a hard copy or €5 for a CD.
