Kilkenny Borough Council will officially open the new pedestrian and cycle bridge at John's Quay/Bateman Quay, Kilkenny, recently named "Lady Desart" Bridge, on Thursday, 30th January, 2014. The opening ceremony will take place at 10.30 a.m. on 30th January at the John's Quay side of the bridge.
There may be some minor traffic disruption in John's Quay for a short time for the duration of the event but every effort will be made to keep the disruption to a minimum. Kilkenny Borough Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
