NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS
In accordance with the Planning & Development Acts, 2000 2006 (and regulations made thereunder) notice is hereby given of the preparation of proposed amendments to the Kilkenny City & Environs Draft Development Plan.
The Proposed Amendments are accompanied by a document containing information on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the proposed amendments, prepared in accordance with the Planning & Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004.
A copy of the Proposed Amendments and the information on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the proposed amendments may be inspected at the Planning Department at either City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday or at County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), during the period Friday 25th April, 2008 to Friday 23rd May, 2008. Copies will also be available from Friday 25th April, 2008 at all county and city libraries.
Written submissions or observations made to the Planning Authorities on or before Friday 23rd May, 2008, with respect to the Proposed Amendments and the information on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the proposed amendments, will be taken into consideration before the making of any amendment. Submissions and observations should be addressed to: Senior Executive Officer, Kilkenny Borough Council, City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny or to the Director of Services, Planning Department, Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny or via email to devplans@kilkennycoco.ie
