Naming of new pedestrian bridge at John's Quay/Bateman Quay
PUBLIC NOTICE
At the December monthly of Meeting of Kilkenny Borough Council held on Monday, 9th December, 2013, the Elected Members of the Borough Council have named the new pedestrian bridge at John's Quay/Bateman Quay as follows:
Droichead Bantíarna Desart
Lady Desart Bridge.
Arrangements for the Official Opening of the Bridge are currently being finalised and details of same will be advised once arrangements are completed.
The Mayor and Elected Members would like to express their appreciation to members of the public for all the suggestions submitted for the naming of the pedestrian bridge over the past few weeks.
