Launching of Regional Gum Litter Task Force
The Councils of the County and City of Kilkenny are launching the regional Gum Litter Taskforce outside City Hall on High Street, Kilkenny on the 23rd of June, 2008, at 3.00 p.m. The Gum Litter Taskforce is a campaign to tackle gum litter in the most sustainable way - by changing behaviour.
Watch out for gum removal demonstrations on High Street and a street competition to highlight the amount of gum litter squashed onto the pavements. Kilkenny's Clean Street Team will be out in force distributing freebies to passing pedestrians. Come down and enjoy the fun!
