Notice of Proposed Development by a Local Authority
REVISED PLANS & PARTICULARS
In accordance with Section 119 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001, Kilkenny Borough Council in
partnership with the Butler Gallery and in conjunction with Kilkenny County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out the following development
Proposed new Butler Gallery at Evan's Home, Barrack Lane, Kilkenny including:
- Construction of a two storey gallery extension including ancillary accommodation to the Evan's Home, refurbishment and conservation works to the existing building
- Associated siteworks and garden development
Evan's Alms House (Evan's Home) is a Protected Structure located in the John Street Architectural Conservation Area in accordance with the 2008-2014 Kilkenny City & Environs Development Plan.
Revised plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at the offices of Kilkenny Borough Council, City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny from 8th April until 26th April 2011 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Submissions or observations with respect of the proposed development, dealing with proper planning and development of the area in which the works will be situated, may be made in writing to the undersigned, not later than 11th May 2011 at 12.00 noon.
