Kilkenny Borough Council will be dissolved and cease to exist from Sunday 1st June, 2014
Pursuant to the terms of Sections 23 - 25 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014, Kilkenny Borough Council will be dissolved and cease to exist from Sunday 1st of June, 2014.
Kilkenny County Council will be the successor to Kilkenny Borough Council on that date and will be the statutory authority responsible for all local authority services in the entire administrative area of County Kilkenny from 1st June, 2014.
