Proposed Extuishment of Public Right of Way - Access laneway from Riverside Drive to Bishops Meadows

Notice is hereby given that Kilkenny Borough Council, in pursuance of Section 73 of the Roads Act, 1993, proposes to make an order extinguishing the following public right-of-way at Bishops Meadows/Riverside Drive, Kilkenny:
- Access laneway from Riverside Drive to Bishops Meadows, Kilkenny.
The right-of-way to be extinguished is indicated on a map which may be inspected in offices of Kilkenny Borough Council, City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny, during normal office hours, being 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, for a period from Friday, 2nd July, 2010, to Friday, 30th July, 2010.
Objections or representations may be made in writing addressed to the undersigned in relation to the foregoing proposal on or before 5.00 p.m. on Friday, 13th August, 2010.
It should be noted that any person making an objection or representation within the foregoing period may make a request, in writing, to state their case at an oral hearing to be conducted by a person appointed by the said Council for that purpose.
